My name is Brian Hull, and I am currently serving as a Dean and Administrator in 27J Schools, located in the Thornton/Brighton area of Colorado. I am a proud Colorado native and attended both Metro State University and Sterling College (in Kansas), where I played baseball for three years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance and Sport, obtained my K–12 Teaching Licensure in Physical Education, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I taught Physical Education for 10 years, including 8 incredible years at Bruce Randolph School. During that time, I worked to create a student-centered P.E. environment that was engaging, inclusive, and tech-forward. I loved integrating technology into my teaching, utilizing heart rate monitors, pedometers, PowerPoint presentations, iPad apps, and gifs to enhance student learning. I firmly believe that technology helps students become better movers, thinkers, and ultimately, better human beings.
From 2021 to 2024, I worked as a SPARK Sales Manager for Gopher Sport and SPARK. In this national role, I collaborated with school districts across the country to support the implementation of research-based physical education curriculum and best practices. I also had the honor of presenting at professional development events and conferences, where I trained and inspired fellow educators to elevate their P.E. programs.
I was inspired to become a P.E. teacher because of the profound impact my own P.E. teachers and coaches had on me growing up. They taught me the importance of daily physical activity, healthy habits, hard work, and strong character. Physical education helped shape who I am today—it taught me perseverance, teamwork, and how to lead with purpose. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pay that forward by becoming a teacher who could make the same kind of difference in students’ lives.
My goal is to be a resource, a connector, and a contributor to the ongoing movement toward excellence in education.
