About the store
Over the past 10 years, I've taught multiple science courses at the secondary and college level including biology, chemistry, and environmental science. There were a few years where I taught 4 to 5 different science preps at once--yikes! I can safely say, it is near impossible to (sanely) prepare for so many different courses, especially when you value a student-centric environment. Hang in there if you are in a similar situation. I aim to provide organized, high-quality, and engaging materials with tips that make life a little easier for teachers! More recently, I began homeschooling my own little scientists... what an adventure! ;)

Teaching style

My dream classroom: student-driven where learners are empowered to explore interests, speak up, and engage in high-level critical thinking. I integrate lots of styles into my teaching. I aim to provide "minds-on" science materials only that honor that creativity, develop critical thinking skills, & inspire students to love science.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was Teacher of the Year at my high school and awarded a scholarship to attend an Excellence in Teaching national workshop.

My own education history

B.A. in Chemistry/ M.S. in Biochemistry/ M.Ed.
