Interquartile Range Bundle (distance learning)
This bundle includes a PowerPoint presentation which has step by step instructions for finding interquartile range both with and without a graphing calculator. Additionally, the bundle includes a hand-out for students with step by step directions for finding the interquartile range, both with and without a graphing calculator. Finally, there is an activity sheet with problems for students to determine interequartile ranges and interpret box and whisker plots.

Students are led through examples with step by step directions for both cases. A Presentation on Standard Deviation (distance learning)
In this PowerPoint presentation, students are shown, step by step, how to determine the standard deviation for a set of data. Additionally, the data is then presented graphically in a histogram so students can visually see what "within one standard deviation" means. Finally, students again are led, step by step, through to determining standard deviation using a graphing calculator.

Writing Equations in Slope-Intercept Form (distance learning)
This PowerPoint presents students with several step-by-step examples of how to write linear equations in slope-intercept form. Examples include writing equations from tables, graphs, and word problems. Problems for students to solve are also in the PowePoint with answers and the steps necessary to arrive at those answers included. This PowerPoint may be used for distance learning or in a traditional classroom.

Working together, students, parents,and teachers can all have successful learning experiences. Teaching is a team sport in which all of the players work toward the common goal of enriching students' lives.
My own education history
I received my BA from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, with a major in chemistry and a minor in math. My student teaching was in the San Antonio public school system. Subsequently, I received my MA from the University of Texas at Austin in the same areas.
