Bringing Math Forward

In the Go Go A Logo activity, students create a logo for a new ultimate Frisbee team and the logo must be according to the owners' specifications. One requirement is that the logo contain at least one transformation (dilation, translation, reflection, rotation). Students are required to explain their transformations and their logos. The videos which accompany the activity explain the four types of transformations. Also, the videos include vocabulary, notes, and/or student problems to help insure

This bundle contains the four videos for transforming figures in the coordinate plane. Each video has vocabulary, notes, and/or student problems to the help teachers identify students who have watched and participated in the videos. Each video is accompanied by an ActivInspire flipchart. The titles of videos, their lengths, and the student requirements may be found in the free "Summary of Student Requirements for Videos" found in my store.
