I have worked in public schools since 1999 as an instructional assistant to balanced literacy and substitute teacher to all elementary grade levels. Three of those years were dedicated to being a teacher assistant for a EC classroom and since 2013 I have been a teacher in fifth grade and several years in fourth grade.

This is a collection of math problems that I put together in boxes. There are seven worksheets in all that include place value, decimals, fractions, and other fifth grade math concepts. The worksheets can be used for morning work, busy work, or homework. They are also great whole group review.

Teaching style
Teaching is about the whole brain. I create lessons and activities that will reach any students' needs and interest. I create hands on experiences for the students and find out what really works for their individual needs. Technology and collaboration is a daily part of our school day.
