I am tutoring lower elementary students who struggle in school and have learning disabilities. I find that they need extra worksheets for practice of many different concepts. They struggle with learning to count numbers other than by rote 1 to 100. I created these worksheets with numbers missing to assist them. When I could not find enough to meet the needs, I devised my own. The idea for their format is very similar to what I used have seen in other locations. These are my original work

Because I need a large variety of cloze worksheets at a level of understanding for my students I tutor, and being unable to produce that amount of creativity or find what I need, I set out to use stories from long ago in the public domain.
