This worksheet was designed in conjunction with the film Beethoven Lives Upstairs. After viewing the film in class, students can complete this worksheet and it can be used as an evaluative tool. Questions are designed in the following formats: Fill-in and True/False. There are 22 questions in total. This can also work well as a pre-assessment tool to see how much the students in your class already know about Beethoven and his rich history/ life.

It can also help you to learn a few personal things about your students and what they would like to come away with in their general music experience with you.

This is a viewing guide that can be used with the 2007 movie musical Hairspray. The hand out is a chart. The chart is separated into three columns. Column 1 is major character names. Column 2 asks your students to describe the sterreotype that each major character represents in the film. Column 3 asks your students to cite examples that they come across during the film that support their choice of stereotype for that character.
