This quiz can be used to assess the general knowledge your music class holds regarding the names of the instruments and the families that they belong in. You can give this quiz on your SMARTBoard/Whiteboard and have the students answer the questions on a piece of loose leaf or blank sheet of paper which you provide. NYS music teachers may be interested in using this for the new SLO/APPR baseline and target requirements.

This is an assignment you can use with your students to familiarize them with the wonder and magic of Disney music. You can use it after a major project or unit, to leave when you are absent or for distance/remote learning. Students listen to each Disney musical example (with Youtube links provided in the worksheet) and fill out the columns with their reflections on the songs.
