Canada Multiculturalism Coin Design Activity
This simple one-page activity related to multiculturalism in Canada is an excellent way for students to artistically connect to the topic. For the activity, students are asked to design a fictional 50-cent coin for Canada using the theme of multiculturalism as a guide. There is space at the bottom for students to briefly explain their choices and symbolism. A teacher can decide whether this is formative or summative. There isn't a rubric with this download.
