This is a simple current events worksheet that can be used for a variety of applications, especially Social Studies. I use it for a once a week current events study. We watch a news broadcast, then the students pick a story to research further. But you could really use it with newspapers or one particular event. It asks students about the source, the basic questions about the event, then to connect to prior learning and a follow-up question.
