I have my students glue their summaries into their INB along with copying the diagrams into their journal. We all have seen the labs that have students use chocolate sandwich cookies to model the phases in the lunar cycle. Students use these cards to play a quick game of moon phase memory. Partners will take turns flipping over cards to make a match. If a student makes a match they get to keep those cards. Students will complete this digital vocabulary glossary (digital VocabuGlossary or DVG) one of two ways. You can assign this for students to fill out at the beginning of the unit to front load vocabulary or you can have students complete the terms that were used in class that specific day for a ticket out system.
