Experience
I have extensive experience with children aged birth to 6 years. I have been room leader of a 12 place nursery room in a fantastic early years service, and as a multi age educator moving between toddlers and preschool. I am now a consultant for educators and families.
Teaching style
I am heavily influenced by the Piklerian approach to child care and education.
I believe the curriculum should always be based around children's interests and needs, extending on the learning that is happening organically, and advocate for respectful teaching based on the forming of strong relationships.

Masters of Early Childhood Education at the University of Sydney.

Additional biographical information
I am a former photographer turned early childhood educator when I realised how much more fulfilling life is when surrounded by children! I am a passionate and energetic 5 year trained teacher. I have two children, Willow and Rupert, and I play boardgames and read in my spare time.
