Hi! I’m a math teacher near Pittsburgh, PA with over 20 years of experience teaching K–12 math, along with 7 years as an instructional coach supporting teachers in the classroom. I love helping teachers make math more engaging, meaningful, and manageable. My goal is to create resources that actually work—activities that keep students involved while making your life easier. This is a recording sheet to be used with a plastic bowling set. You can either write the amounts of coins on the bowling pins or tape on pictures of the coins. Students could complete this in a center or can be used in a Phys Ed class to integrate math. Students throw one ball and record the amounts on the pins that they knocked down. They set up the pins and complete the total while waiting for their turn again.

Teaching style

I love to see students of all ages involved in mathematics. I think that math can be so much fun when presented in a way that is interesting and makes sense. I love to see a classroom that uses games as a way to reinforce math topics!

My own education history

I have my undergrad in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math and Science. My graduate work was in technology.
