Test over how climate change is affecting us. Covers: Greenhouse Effect, Greenhouse gases, Consequences of increased temperature and CO2, Human contributions, extreme weather and changing weather patterns.
Students read the article from the New Yorker "The Uninhabitable Earth" and take notes and have discussions over article. They make an infographic, then as a class discuss what they have taken from this article and the unit. This includes both rubrics for the infographic and Socratic Seminar.
This is a project for nutrient cycles in which students have guidelines to follow to create a rap. I have my students use music or background and perform it.
This can be edited for lower grades but I use it for a high school level environmental science.
