Editable IEP Progress Monitoring Binder (Sweet Mint) | Special Education

It has taken me awhile, but I have FINALLY created IEP progress monitoring binders in hopes to help special education teachers stay better organized during the end of each school day, week, trimester, or quarter, while completing students’ data collecting. Perfect for IEP goals and objectives tracking. In each binder there are teacher recording sheets for each goal being monitored daily, weekly, by trimester, and by quarter, AND I have also added graphs that allow students to keep track of their

Special Education Scope & Sequence Planning Templates (EDITABLE)

Planning for an entire unit in a special education classroom sounds crazy, right?! Our plans don't always go as planned by each week, let alone for an entire unit. It's not possible... or so I thought. This year I've began planning units/lessons in advance as a special education teacher! I can't tell you how good it feels. I'm doing it all with the help of these these simple templates. The templates allow for me to stay on track, and even stay organized on those "off days," where I'll probably

IEP Student Info | Flip Book (Lower Grades) | Special Education Resource

The end of the school year creeps up on me every year. Mid-May I find myself scrambling to collect last minute student data, to send to the case managers my students will be having next year. These IEP Info Flip Books have been a huge time saver for myself to send to other case managers. ALSO - I love receiving these from case managers of students I will have on my roster the upcoming school year. It's a simple way to review student information, and give me a better idea of what I should expect

My Calendar Flip Folder

Free Updates Every School Year!As an elementary special education teacher, I always worked on calendar skills. It was something we did in my room, as well as something my students would do in their regular classroom for morning work before they came to me. Our classroom calendars might have visually been a little different, but the same basic calendar skills and concepts were being taught and reinforced. Now, teaching at the middle/high school special education level, I realize how even more i

Just a Quick Note | Rainbow Confetti

I find myself handing out special education paper work to the regular education teachers in my building A LOT. I usually just scribble a note to them real quick and attach it to the paper work. I created "Just a Quick Note" to pass along to the other teachers, to administrators, to students, and also to my students' parents guardians. These make for a much nicer note - rather than my piece of notebook paper, or something quickly printed on word. I designed these notecards to match my binders

Letters and Sounds Mini Charts

I completely swoon over anchor charts I see teachers have in their classroom. It's like teacher artwork - haha, but they just aren't practical in my learning support classroom. Sure, I leave up charts and posters that benefit, in some way or another, all students who come to my learning support classroom, but sometimes I need for each of my students to have what anchor charts offer. At the beginning of this school year, I started making "mini charts" for my students to have at their seat. THEN,

Awesome Artists! (Classroom Artwork Binder Cover)

I can't express to you how much I LOVE when my students draw me pictures, write me notes, make me signs... basically shower me with all sorts of creative gifts!:) It makes me feel SO appreciated! In the past I have always displayed their art work around my room, for all of my students to see. However, now that I am nearing the end of a school year, I am running out of places to display their thoughtful work! I am huge on organization in my classroom. So, I thought to myself - why not keep ALL o
