Every year when I introduce - or even re-teach - 'telling time' to my special education students, it always seems to be a bit of a struggle at first. We can tell what minute it is, but when we are in between hours we get confused. With my "I Know the Time" clock manipulative I have colored coded each hour, to make for better understanding as to where the 'hour hand' is pointing. Example: The 1 on the clock is colored pink. As seen on my Instagram - and uploaded to my TPT as requested by many followers.In my classroom, I display my learning targets and standards on my white board. I use my Learning Target Display Tags to help my students (and myself) easily see the learning target/standard we are currently working on. All I do is tape the tags to magnetic clips.
