25 years of high school science: teaching everything from Physical Science- Honors and Regular, to Advanced Placement Chemistry. I am certified in Florida and Georgia for Physics and Chemistry content specific and College Board recognized for AP Chemistry. I have my Gifted Endorsement in both states.
My Bachelor's is in Chemistry and my Master's is Secondary Education- Curriculum and Education, my PhD is also Curriculum & Instruction.

Atomic Theory: Who Am I? Gallery Review
This activity has 40 cards to be printed and laminated (recommended) for student review on 1) identification of elements using atomic numbers, 2) constructing nuclear symbols, 3) writing isotope notation, and 4) calculation of ionic charge and mass numbers for a variety of elements. Student answer sheet and answer key is included. Two blank cards are included at the end. Who Am I? Electron Configurations and the Periodic Table is a quick review for students to demonstrate they understand the various ways we can identify an element using their configurations and organization on the periodic table. 24 cards are included, along with 4 blank cards. You can laminate and cut them out for repeated use. I hang mine around the room or in the hallway (order is not important). Errors in Nomenclature- Gallery Walk Review
Printable cards to be laminated and hung around the classroom. Have students work in pairs to identify if the formula is correctly written and if not, what is wrong with it.
Good for honors chemistry class.

Teaching style
I like to vary my style per class, per day. I range from lecture to inquiry, with some lots of cooperative group activities and even a few units of flipped ed.
