I use this for my students with special needs to assist them with real life math, fractions, division, and identification using money. Instructions: Complete the graphic organizer. Write the name of each coin. Answer how many of each coin go into a dollar. Put into a fraction how many 1 coin is out of a dollar value. Second sheet has practice. Instructions: Write the fraction representation of each money amount in coins given out of a dollar. Simplify if needed. Answer key included I use
simple fun creative multiple level for special ed - create a floor plan for a haunted house and then have students find perimeter of each room by counting the blocks and add for perimeter. you could also extend it to area. I created a sample but I also used it to assist my students who did not want to create their own floorplan. bigger grid for those with visual impairments.
