Students will be naming various shapes while finding their area. They may also need to find the missing dimension. These task cards cover parallelograms, triangles and trapezoids.
The document also includes a spreadsheet in which students can put their answers as well as an answer sheet.
Multistep Word Problem Task Cards! Help your kids master multistep problems with these fun task cards! Word problems focus on multiplying and dividing larger numbers and require students to think through the problem solving process using a real-world context. I love to put these cards around the room and have students work with a partner on a problem. Students love to be able to be up out of their seat and moving! Great for test prep!

This set of 16 task cards covers calculating volume of rectangular prisms. These are aligned with common core standard 6.G.2.
This packet also includes a recording sheet with room for students to show their work and answer sheet.
These cards are great for math centers, independent practice, partner work and other cooperative learning models.
I have even taped one set around the room and had students moving together with a partner from problem to problem. They love it!
Tic-tac-toe, three in a row! Students must choose three different activities to complete for each weeks spelling words. Their choices must connect like tic-tac-toe (down, across, diagonal). This includes three different choice boards for students to compete/choose from.
Included are 12 task cards.
Ten of the task cards are story problems. My students always could use a little extra practice when "words" get involved in math. Also, two cards included are just for the user to figure out the pattern.

Students move throughout the room completing problems. These can also be used as a task card set. However, to make it quicker, put one on each desk and have student rotate when you tell them to do so. They really enjoy this when I turn music on while they work.
Each week my students get a new reading log. I like to use this one because it has them write a response to what they read, each time they read. This helps students work on comprehension as well as retell.
