I use this notes page at the beginning of the year to introduce my students to the different characteristics of a civilization. We use G.R.A.P.E.S throughout the school year to identify the geography, religion, achievements, politics, economics and society/social structure of the different civilizations that we learn about.
I paired this with "Saturday" from All American Boys. Students are asked to: Compare Friday's events to real-world events. This can be printed or downloaded to Notability.
