This was a fun science investigation for my class. We found out what happened when we mixed solids with solids, liquids with liquids, and liquids with solids. This investigation will need some common items (water, juice, rice, beans, cups, spoons, and bowls) This was designed with 2nd grade in mind but can absolutely be used in 1st and 3rd as well.

This is a google slide drag and drop activity. Students will read the two words and then drag the contraction that matches to the box.
