This was a fun science investigation for my class. We found out what happened when we mixed solids with solids, liquids with liquids, and liquids with solids. This investigation will need some common items (water, juice, rice, beans, cups, spoons, and bowls) This was designed with 2nd grade in mind but can absolutely be used in 1st and 3rd as well.
This is a letter to send home to parents for a 100 day poster project. Students find 100 items (examples given in letter) and attach them to a poster to bring back to school on 100 day.

students will investigate popcorn using their five senses. They will need to identify the 5 senses, and what body parts they use. Then they will need to describe how to the popcorn looked, smelled, etc

This is a google slide drag and drop activity. Students will read the two words and then drag the contraction that matches to the box. With being a google product it is easy to sync with your google classroom and assign to all your students. This activity is also available as a PDF version in my store.
This power point has all 50 states with their names and outlines to review. After viewing the 50 states, there is a short quiz with a few of the states to see if students recognize the state just based on it's outline.
This worksheet goes with an activity which uses dice. Students roll the 3 dice (or 3 times same die) to get 3 numbers. Students write down the numbers and then add them together
