This project has been a hit over the years. Students pick an African American inventor with their invention. Students are asked to create a poster and a model of their invention. This was a fun science investigation for my class. We found out what happened when we mixed solids with solids, liquids with liquids, and liquids with solids. This investigation will need some common items (water, juice, rice, beans, cups, spoons, and bowls) This was designed with 2nd grade in mind but can absolutely be used in 1st and 3rd as well.

This is a letter to send home to parents for a 100 day poster project. Students find 100 items (examples given in letter) and attach them to a poster to bring back to school on 100 day.

This addition and subtraction BINGO uses sums/difference within 20. This is a great game to build fluency and for review of basic number facts. There are 32 bingo boards included. Print it out on colorful paper and laminate the bingo boards for longer usage.
