Wizard of Oz 6th Grade Common Core Interdisciplinary Unit
This unit is founded in the new common core standards. It can be used by an entire 6th grade team (math, ELA, science, Social Studies, Art, Music) to teach the standards through the Wizard of Oz. The unit includes all the directions, worksheets and activities. My own education history
My background is in math, science and reading. I also am a gifted intervention specialist. I received my bachelors in science degree from the University of Akron, Ohio. As well, I have completed grad classes through the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Additional biographical information
I am a wife and mother. I have two beautiful children. I have a daughter and a son: who keep my life busy and exciting. On Sunday, I teach a teen Sunday School Class. My hobbies are reading and walking.
