This is a mini-project. It is meant to be used on the GOOGLE Platform of apps.. I use it in my Google Classroom with my 6th Grade Students. This project will serve as a review of surface area and 2-D shapes. This project works with both 6th Grade math teachers and teachers who use Pearson Math. This project includes box and whisker plots, histograms, measures of center, MAD (mean absolute deviation), stem and leaf plots, random sampling, measures of spread, dot plots. This project works great for both 6th grade math teachers and teachers of PEARSON. This project makes School Fundraisers accessible to the Google Platform.

Students work in groups to create a model of erosion/deposition. Break the class into groups: river systems, mountains, slumping, cave systems, etc. Have each group work on one portion and teach the class through their presentation and model.

The unit includes vocabulary, essay writing, setting, character and theme analysis. This unit has an interdisciplinary unit component as students create time lines.

Students will create an art projects based on the common core elements found within this rubric. This project should take 2 class periods. It allows students to demonstrate mastery of all 6th grade common core standards.
