This tool allows you to check off and date both introduction but also mastery of standards The checklist allows for differentiation in your classroom; as it provides you with a place to document students who have not reached mastery. As well, the checklist provides you with the daily"I can" statements to write on your classroom board.

The entire 5th Grade Common Core Fractions Unit as Stations. Once you have covered 5.NF with your class- these stations will act as a perfect test review or standardized test review. As well, 6th graders teachers may use these at the beginning of the year to review fractions before starting their ratios unit. Each station is hands on and/or requires active thinking and engagement. Students may go through the stations individually or as a group.

Middle Level Math Class first day of school activity. Students share numerical facts about themselves by writing equations. Students may swap papers and solve equations to learn about each other. File includes an interest inventory with a goal setting sheet.

Three Projects Each project is an authentic experience involving real world items and ratios and proportions. Student's will be able to use technology. Students will be able to create. Students will be able to calculate. Students will be able to use each other's project to solve problems.

This project includes box and whisker plots, histograms, measures of center, MAD (mean absolute deviation), stem and leaf plots, random sampling, measures of spread, dot plots. Students will calculate and investigate in this week long project. The project focuses around 6th grade common core statistics standards.
