About the store
I've been teaching for nearly 20 years. My undergraduate degree is in Health and Physical Education. However, my first teaching job was teaching self-contained special education at the middle school level. Since then I've taught health and PE, self-contained special education at the high school level, middle school math (7th and 8th grades), and co-taught ELA and math as the special education teacher as well as the general instruction teacher. My certifications are many, but I think I've found my niche in math.

Transformations Graphic Organizer
This graphic organizer could be printed as a poster for the classroom or given to students and allowed to doodle as they learn. Transformations can be tricky, but some good examples and an understanding of the "rules" proves helpful.

BINGO - Writing an Equation of a Line given the Slope & a Point
This activity is great for differentiation and student choice! Students pick 5 problems in a row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, to write the equation of the line in Slope-Intercept Form given the slope and a point. Each row has a fraction as a given slope. There are problems with a given point is the y-intercept. If your students need more practice, have them do more problems. Writing the Equation of a Line when given 2 Points - self-checking
Students determine the equation of the line when given two points. This assignment allows your students immediate feedback because it's self-checking! Be sure to erase the answers before sharing with your students. Also, make sure students are presented with their own copy so that they do not alter your copy nor another student's.

Share this self-checking 16 question assignment with your students to get them excited for finding the slope of a graph correctly. Tic-Tac-Toe - Solving Systems of Equations by Graphing
This is a great activity for differentiation when teaching Systems of Equations by Graphing. You can have your students work individually or in partners. Slope Digital Escape
Students have to answer questions to get a code to unlock each puzzle. There are 5 puzzles total all about the different ways to find slope. My students seemed to really enjoy this activity. They loved it when they were successful in deciphering the code to open the next puzzle.
