Since I could not find anything like this, I decided to make my own! I used clipart from Google images and Preschool Printable's free pattern cards. I tried to look for the clipart artist who is credited as Baba Puff Baby, but her Etsy shop no longer had the star wars theme pack. Find out what interests students about science during the first week of school. This is great for a science teacher, after school science club, or science lab coach. Get students thinking about their own passions, what they would like to learn more about, and how they would like to do it.
This freebie contains a foldable for the 3 states of water: solids, liquids, and gases. It has a picture of each state of mater as well as an image of the particles of each state.
The particle picture should be cut and glued under the correct flap. I would also recommend having students write the definition of each term or a few examples of each under the flaps.
I created my own Math Center Rotation display because I felt that the more common Guided Math rotation charts did not completely fit my needs. I was able to use the word Fourth as an acronym for the following centers:
F- Fact Fluency (game based group activities)
O- On Your Own (textbook/worksheet practice)
U- U choose (from different problem based learning options)
R - Round Table (teacher choice)
T - Technology
H - Huddle Up (groups work on higher order thinking questions together)
