Color Coded Corner

This fun jar full of candy needs colored! Each candy has a color word on it from the 2G Power word list from ARC. The students have to read the words and color the candy the right colors. This will help them learn to read and apply the use of these color words. Students will love this activity in centers, morning work, early finishers. I mean what student isn't constantly asking to color now they can learn while they do it!

This is a fun activity for students to do or to leave on the desks for parents during curriculum night or back to school night. The parents can color in white crayons on the paper that evening and the students get to water color and reveal the image from their parents the next morning ( I use morning work time) The other use would be for students. They can both draw the picture and them water color over it.
