My students loved this hands-on activity and it was a total hit in my class! This was a fun, hands-on way for students to learn about cell organelles by interacting with them through slime. Students prepare the slime mixture and create each organelle! After constructing their cell they discussed the function of their organelles. This can be a group, pair, or individual assignment.
