Using the common construction class room paper bridge project, this lesson plan is adapted to be used with a light weight and easily workable lumber. This is the documentation for the Unit 1 Safety and Orientation in the Construction class. It follows the Ontario TCJ2O curriculum. Can be adapted for other course codes and to better integrate with specific classroom resources. This resource is designed to be accompanied by a slide show for the lecture, a slide show for a class activity and an assessment tool.

This document is the assessment tool used for the end of the lesson. The answer key can be found at the bottom of the document.
