About the store

Experience

Over the years I have taught Math I, Math I Honors, Math II, Math II Honors, Math III LA, and Engineering. I have also been a part of making a STEAM Academy at my school, for which I was Department Chair. I am currently the Math Department Chair at my school and teach Algebra II and Engineering.

Teaching style

Guided notes are the key to understanding in my classroom. In today's world of more content standards and less time to teach them, every second in class is valuable and not to be wasted on copying down problems but to to be used solving them. Meaningful activities and practice are also important to applying skills learned. I try to make my practices fun and my activities applicable to real life.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I graduated from Shepherd University with a BA in Secondary Education Mathematics 5-Adult.
