I have been teaching 5th grade for 3 years. I have taught 4th grade as well as worked in the high school level teaching. I have been working with students for about 16 years academically inside and outside of the classroom.
Students will see visuals of 3 different types of cars. From students observation they are to choose which car is most attractive. Students will then compare tank sizes of the vehicles and find out which cars get the most miles per gallon via city and highway. Students will write answers as unit rates, ratios and equivalent ratios.
