Counce's Corner

Earth Day is right around the corner. Now is the perfect time to help students be aware that we can recycle and reuse household items to make the world a nicer place and engage a little creative thinking. This center idea is ready to post with directions to help young minds reuse and recycle common discarded containers.

Cards with Accelerated Reader levels already written on them. There is a place to put student's name, certification level and goal, and quarter goal for points. Cards begin at 0.5-1.5 level and go up to 4.3 to 6.1. These will help a busy teacher have students' reading levels for that trip to the library ready to go at a moment's notice. As a student's level changes, a new card can be easily printed and save the teacher time. Multiple levels are on each page with four cards per page.
