This activity is one of the things I use to introduce a circle. It shows all the parts and requires students to include the definitions along with the diagram. My students enjoy the color coding of the picture as well.

I found something similar to this online for 10th grade geometry but I just couldn't make it work for my 8th grade transformation unit. 8th Grade: Assists teacher in introducing students to Linear Equations in two variables. Corresponds well to EngageNY or Eureka Math; can be used in interactive notebooks or just as notes for students to reference.
Students will work in groups of 4. Each student will start with a copy of the same equation. They will follow the instructions and complete the first step in solving (each student will start the equation in a different way). After completing the first step they will pass their paper to the left (or right) and complete the second step of the paper they are handed and continue passing. Each student is given an expression card. It can be as simple or as complex as you would like. I usually do this activity several times during the course of an equations unit. The first time I do this, I use simple expressions such as 3x-7 or -2x+9. Then after we have worked with equations for a while, I start adding in expressions that contain parenthesis or where they will have to combine like terms.
