I have been teaching for 25 years. My experience includes teaching in the inner city and Title 1 schools. For 21 years I was a 4th grade regular education teacher. The last 4 years have been spent working as a Reading Specialist for grades K-4. Currently I am working toward an endorsement in MLL.

This sheet is used to record students that leave the classroom. It helps track where students are when leaving the room. It can also be helpful for tracking patterns of students who consistently ask to use restroom, or may be avoiding work. I keep a few of these sheets on a clipboard by the door. I attach a pencil and a timer for them to input the time. In the first few weeks of school, I model how to fill out the chart so students know the expectation.
