I have been through many of the lower grades. 1st and 2nd are my absolute favorites, but I also have a soft spot for 4th! I absolutely LOVE teaching. I couldn't ever imagine doing anything else. Reading is a passion of mine, and I am currently going back to grade school to get my reading specialist certificate.

Exit Tickets - Assessment Tool
Exit tickets are a great way for teachers to keep track of student understanding. These can be completely anonymous, but each child needs to fill one out in order to leave the room after class is over.
I included two different types of slips in this product.
1. The first two pages include slips that have students tell the teacher something that they learned and understood during the lesson
2. The second two pages include slips that have students tell the teacher something they did not underst

Behavior Clip Chart
This chart is for teachers to use for behavior. you can use magnets with numbers on them or clothespins. Many materials can be used with this. I will be creating another file for you to download to place student name or numbers on to move up and down on the chart.

Experience

Teaching style
I want the environment of my classroom to be one where students are excited to come to each and every day. I want them to feel safe, and know that their classroom is a place where they can express themselves. With the being said, I am a stickler for behavior. My students learn that right off the bat. I love rewarding good behavior. FUN is my middle name, and I put that word into as much of my activities as possible.

I graduated with honors in undergrad, and will hopefully be doing even more for grad school!
My own education history
I graduated high school in 2007. I attended the University of Pitt at Johnstown Campus. College was the most amazing time of my life. I loved every minute of it. Th education program was wonderful. I was able to do 4 Field placements and 3 different student teaching experiences. I graduated college in 2011. I am now currently going back to grad school for reading at Edinboro.
Additional biographical information
I just recently got engaged and am in the process of planning my wedding. Its all so excited, and I am very excited for it to get here! I live in Pittsburgh, and am currently working at a public school there.
