Creating Classrooom Magic

This presentation introduces students to the artist Tyree Guyton. It explains how this man took his old abandoned neighborhood and turned it into live art. There is a read aloud titled "Magic Trash" that is included in this presentation as well! This is a great lesson to use for Earth Day as well as to integrate the arts into your instruction!

This is a fun Earth Day match game! For this activity the students must match the blue addition sentence with the green sum card. Once they finish they are to write their answers on the answer sheet.

This is a quick and easy activity you can do to have the kids practice their addition facts. Print, laminate, and cut out the colored cards. Hang them up around the room in fun hiding spots. Print the answer sheet front to back and give one to each student. Have them walk around the room, find each card, and then solve the problems on their papers!
