Helpful Hints: Place value Booklet

These books are meant to be resources for your children to be able to access when they need a little reminder or practice with a certain skill. They do not go into incredible detail. I wanted to keep them simple yet effective. I print mine, cut them out, laminate each page, cut them out of lamination, and then bind them together to create little books. These can be placed in a bin in your room for students to access during individual work time, group work, or they are even wonderful to plac

About the store

Experience

I have been through many of the lower grades. 1st and 2nd are my absolute favorites, but I also have a soft spot for 4th! I absolutely LOVE teaching. I couldn't ever imagine doing anything else. Reading is a passion of mine, and I am currently going back to grade school to get my reading specialist certificate.

Teaching style

I want the environment of my classroom to be one where students are excited to come to each and every day. I want them to feel safe, and know that their classroom is a place where they can express themselves. With the being said, I am a stickler for behavior. My students learn that right off the bat. I love rewarding good behavior. FUN is my middle name, and I put that word into as much of my activities as possible.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated with honors in undergrad, and will hopefully be doing even more for grad school!

My own education history

I graduated high school in 2007. I attended the University of Pitt at Johnstown Campus. College was the most amazing time of my life. I loved every minute of it. Th education program was wonderful. I was able to do 4 Field placements and 3 different student teaching experiences. I graduated college in 2011. I am now currently going back to grad school for reading at Edinboro.

Additional biographical information

I just recently got engaged and am in the process of planning my wedding. Its all so excited, and I am very excited for it to get here! I live in Pittsburgh, and am currently working at a public school there.
