I have been through many of the lower grades. 1st and 2nd are my absolute favorites, but I also have a soft spot for 4th! I absolutely LOVE teaching. I couldn't ever imagine doing anything else. Reading is a passion of mine, and I am currently going back to grade school to get my reading specialist certificate.

Morning Meeting - calendar & math
This pack was made to use during your morning meeting. It has quite a few pages for students to practice a variety of math skills, weather skills, and calendar skills. There is a calendar for each month as well.
You can choose to use all of the pages or just some of them. My kiddos LOVE this time of the day. It also helps with routine in the morning which helps the day get started off right!

Experience

Teaching style
I want the environment of my classroom to be one where students are excited to come to each and every day. I want them to feel safe, and know that their classroom is a place where they can express themselves. With the being said, I am a stickler for behavior. My students learn that right off the bat. I love rewarding good behavior. FUN is my middle name, and I put that word into as much of my activities as possible.

I graduated with honors in undergrad, and will hopefully be doing even more for grad school!
My own education history
I graduated high school in 2007. I attended the University of Pitt at Johnstown Campus. College was the most amazing time of my life. I loved every minute of it. Th education program was wonderful. I was able to do 4 Field placements and 3 different student teaching experiences. I graduated college in 2011. I am now currently going back to grad school for reading at Edinboro.
Additional biographical information
I just recently got engaged and am in the process of planning my wedding. Its all so excited, and I am very excited for it to get here! I live in Pittsburgh, and am currently working at a public school there.
