In this hands on lab, students begin to think about the characteristics of rocks. How should they be organized? Why put them into the groups they do? What do the rocks feel like? This lab is designed for young learners between Kindergarten and 4th grade. Put in Microsoft Word so you can add or remove items as you see fit for your classroom. Enjoy!
Simple and clean for you to use to customize for your classroom. Spaces are provided on slides for you to insert pictures or clipart of your choosing. Use the framework as recommended, but please use my template as it fits for you. Enjoy.
This template allows your students to have a cover page as well as multiple pages to put together a story of their own. This can be used all year long for Narratives, Opinion writing, Chapter Book Writing, Draw and Respond, etc.
Fill in the blank morning work. Synonyms, adjectives, creating basic sentences, identifying and drawing shapes/figures. This is editable so you can make it work for you. (**I put a copy of this on my white board with the label choices on the bottom for students to copy correctly**) Enjoy!
I wanted to create a common reading log for my students in my self-contained classroom who are all at different levels to use. The original idea behind this is to keep a reading log for students to read a minimum of 5 books a week and focus on sight words and answering questions relating to common core standards.
Use these flashcards to teach students the key concepts about the inventions used and created during the industrial revolution. If cards are numbered, they can also be used as a memory game to help study. Enjoy!
