Experience

I’m a middle school science and math teacher with years of experience designing engaging, hands-on lessons that bring complex concepts to life. I specialize in creating resources that support inquiry-based learning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction. I’ve taught 6th–8th grade, and I love finding ways to make learning meaningful and memorable for every student.

Teaching style

My teaching style blends structure, creativity, and connection. I focus on inquiry-based learning, movement and brain breaks, and culturally responsive strategies that honor student voice. I strive to create resources that are easy to use, impactful, and aligned to standards, all while keeping students at the heart of instruction.

My own education history

I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education. My studies helped shape the way I plan, assess, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Additional biographical information

When I’m not teaching or designing resources, I’m probably at the gym, on my Peloton, or out for a run. I also love experimenting in the kitchen and keeping my sourdough starter (“my dough baby”) alive and thriving. 🥖
