This lab is a basic investigation to explore plants.
Three stations guide students in looking at plants in different ways.
There is no "starting" station, so students can be staggered. The three stations are:
Station 1: Leaf Identification (students interact with plant ID books and dichotomous keys (you must provide))
Station 2: Microscopic Investigation (students employ a microscope and hand lens to take a closer look at plant structures)
Station 3: Labeling and Measuring (using a ruler
4th - 12th
