I have been a high school chemistry teacher since 2020. I am very creative and love to find new, exciting ways to engage my students. I love games for cooperative learning. I also am an advisor of the Forensic Science Club at my school where I build mysteries and activities for the members to enjoy.

Science Weekly Planner
A science-themed weekly planner to show your students what they will learn that week. This planner helps both me and my students stay organized. I put the planner on the board every class period to remind myself what we need to do that day. Students are able to clearly see their assignments. I also post this on Google Classroom at the beginning of each week so that students who are absent can see what they missed.

Electromagnetic Spectrum CER
Hit the NGSS HS-PS4-4 standard: "Evaluate the validity and reliability of claims about how different frequencies of electromagnetic radiation interact with matter" with this lesson! Students choose between two short articles (one about cell phones and one about tanning beds. Using their knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum, students evaluate the validity and reliability of the claim using CER method.
