There is a unit project at the end of the unit that will encompass all learned material and artistic skills. This unit was reviewed by Indigenous support workers and administration. I created an independent novel study that works for any book and talks about the setting, characters, POV and morals. I have also created this to work as book clubs where students reading different books can join together to talk about the week's themes. This resource will take a minimum of four weeks to complete if you are able to have your students work on it twice a week. My students have enjoyed the freedom to explore these English topics while reading their own books and at their own pace.
