Creative Collier

This is an adapted widget story for the book Holes. It only follows Stanley's story and does not go into the history of his family or the camp. I have created this for kids who struggle with the larger concepts of the book but still need to follow along with their class. It does not go chapter by chapter following the book but has all the necessary information and storylines for Stanley and his friendship with Zero.

I have created a cell Jell-O lab worksheet to do with grades 6-9 for science. This is a hands-on activity that is a lot of fun! The kids are motivated as they get to eat the Jell-O mixture after and relating cell parts to candy has helped them remember not only the part but the function of the part as well! This will take some preparation but it will be something that all students will look forward too!
