This is an activity that I created and have used for several years. It covers a lot of information about the culture of Ancient Greeks. However, because the material is broken down into smaller stations I can honestly say that I have never heard a complaint from a student about it being too much work. It is designed to be used as stations that either students move to or they can remain seated and you move the station to them by trading out stations as they go. Students will learn various aspects

Students will use an information sheet to answer questions about the start of the olympics and how they played a vital role in ancient Greek culture.

What was it like to live in Ancient Greece? This assignment walks students through what their homes were like, common foods, what the clothes were like and what it would have been like to grow up in ancient Greece.

Students will be given a 2 page information sheet that explains how a small city state could become a wealthy, powerful force that will ultimately dominate the Mediterranean. The students will also discover how their culture will help to transform later societies and influence our own way of life. Students will then use the information sheet to answer questions in a guided reading.
