I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelors in elementary education with a minor in science. I've since gone on to earn two masters from Western Governors' University in curriculum and instruction and k-6 mathematics education. I am a 6th grade self contained teacher and have experience teaching 5-8 grade students. I was previously a middle school science teacher before my current position.

This is an introductory powerpoint presentation on work used with an 8th grade class. The powerpoint includes: -What is work? -Examples -Practice problems using Work (Joules)= Force (Newton) x Distance (m) with answers Easy to use Intro lesson to work! I have paired this with MORE practice problems for students to practice on their own as work time in class or homework. Provide feedback please!
