Reviewing addition facts with the sum of 10?
The students will get 10 red/yellow counters, put them into a cup, shake them, and pour them out. Then they'll sort the red ones and yellow ones and count them. After, they depict those numbers on the 10s frame and create the corresponding number sentence.

Having your Kindergarteners, First Graders, or Second Graders reviewing addition and subtraction? Why not whip out those flashcards with this addition and subtraction flashcard sorting mat? After students finish sorting, they can solve each equation and record their answers on whatever you choose- cute math-themed stationary, lined paper, or- I have a bin of papers to reuse (extra worksheets, extra homework sheets, extra school flyers, anything that has a blank backside that can be reused!).
Reviewing subtraction and addition but you're tired of the flashcards and your Kindergarteners, First Graders, or Second Graders need something more engaging?
Try this station activity! Grab 2 dice, roll them, draw them, and solve for either an addition or subtraction equation.
