This activity is a perfect follow-up to the PPT in my store called "How to Write Professional Emails." The one page worksheet asks students to edit three "fake" emails using their knowledge of professional writing and email formatting conventions.
This 1 page worksheet provides seven prompts to help students title a piece of creative writing. By the end of the worksheet, students have seven possible titles for their piece of writing, which they could then pass around the room for a feedback activity.
On this 1 page worksheet, students are prompted to fill in the correct form of a verb (either past continuous or past simple) to complete each paragraphs. Each paragraph (7 total) includes at least one instance of each verb form, prompting students to grapple with the possibilities as they work. For each blank, the worksheet provides the infinitive form of the verb (ex: take, leave, run, etc.).
